A thorough first visit with Dr Jack Madden to uncover what's driving your neck pain, and build a clear plan focused on getting you back to doing what you love.
A full assessment, not a quick look. Allow about 30 minutes.
Your history, what you're feeling and when, plus the lifestyle factors that may contribute: sleep, stress, hydration and exercise.
Heart rate variability (how well your body is handling stress), a spinal assessment, and posture and movement testing. Play a sport? We can test the movements specific to it.
If it's suitable and you're comfortable, we start on the area that needs it. If X-rays are needed first, we refer you to I-MED (usually bulk-billed).
We book a follow up visit (standard $70) to go through your results and recommended plan in plain English, and start your care if you choose to.
Old injuries, desk work, stress, activity and sleep. Neck pain and headaches rarely have one cause.
An HRV scan, posture and movement testing, and X-rays by referral if clinically needed, tracked over time so you can see where things stand.
Nervous about neck adjustments? Most people are. We test first to minimise risk, and have gentler options. Nothing happens without your OK.
Practical guidance on movement, sleep, hydration and recovery, because what you do between visits matters.
